RAMBAN, Nov 6: The district Ramban unit of J&K Rebhar-e-Taleem (ReT) Forum has demanded the release of their pending salaries.
In a meeting of the Forum held here in Dak Banglow under the chairman ship of its district president, Farooq Ahmed Runyal, the participants discussed different issues including pending salary of teachers.
All the zonal presidents and executive members of the forum were present in the meeting. They alleged that their salaries are withheld from past more than four months and despite tall claims of Government their salaries are still not released. They demanded immediate release of their salaries besides implementation of transfer policy for regularized ReT teachers as per the high court order.
The forum members threatened the Government of State wide protests if their salaries are not released within a week’s time.
