REASI, Nov 7: Salal Power Station today celebrated ‘42nd NHPC Raising Day’ with enthusiasm and zeal.
On the occasion, a fete was organized at Ramleela Ground, Jyotipuram, wherein a large number of employees and their family members, CISF personnel, civil administration and locals participated in large number.
The fete was inaugurated by Ishrat Nasrin Ansari, wife of AG Ansari, General Manager, Salal Power Station, who himself inaugurated “Mini Essle World”.
The fete having something of interest for everybody for all the age groups remained a day long affair. The main attraction of the fete was ‘Mini Essle World’, stalls of eatables, games of skill, Tug of War, Musical Chair, Lemon Race for school children, Lucky Draw for employees and above all Shame-e-Ghazal by renowned artist, Dharmesh Nargotra and his team.
Speaking on the occasion, the General Manager wished ‘Happy NHPC Day’ to all the employees and applauded the hard work put in by the employees for winning the “Best Rated Power Station’ among all the Power Stations of NHPC Limited for the year 2015-16 and achieving highest ever generation from Salal Power Station since its commissioning consecutively for the last two years.
He further hoped that the employees of Salal Power Station shall continue to work hard with same devotion for progress and prosperity of NHPC Limited and nation as a whole.
