Drug trafficking

Sir,
In reference to the Article ” Menace of Drug Trafficking in India ” , the author has eloquently expressed the concerns of drug abuse especially among the youth of ages between 18-35. The article seems to appraise all the concerned readers about numerous ill-effects that crop up in one’s life when one becomes an addict and also throws light on social malaise which creeps in due to the nefarious activities.
Being in my late adolescence, I would like to add that while the government is trying to deal with heavy hands on supply side, the demand side is something which is in our control. We need to understand that it’s a global  menace but our small steps can cultivate a big outcome. Using  of innovative education programs, increased parental concerns and a closely knit family life, long-term demand can be curbed. This also calls for the preservation of  collectivist culture of Indian society which is being diluted every now and then by the prominent forces of industrialization, urbanization and job migration. To combat the ill-effects of all these, there is a need to balance the vehicle of family by parents especially by devoting time to their children particularly  those who are at their young adulthood.
Yours etc…
