2 houses damaged in Keran sector

Srinagar, Nov 11: Two residential houses were damaged in Keran sector of Kupwara in North Kashmir as Indian and Pakistani troops exchanged fire along the Line of Control (LoC) today.
Sources said that India and Pakistani troops exchanged fire along the LoC in Keran sector during which shells landed on two residential houses in which they were damaged.
Indian and Pakistani troops are exchanging fire along the LoC in Keran and Macchil sectors for last few weeks.
In the meantime, security forces cordoned off Adipora area of Sopore after they received inputs about presence of militants in the area.
The 22 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and SOG Sopore cordoned off Adipora area of Sopore and conducted searches. The area is still under cordon as security forces believed that the militants are hiding in the area.
