One killed, three injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Nov 12: An unidentified man was killed while three others were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, an unknown male pedestrian of age about 45 years was killed on the spot when a mini-bus bearing registration number JK02N-0804 hit him at Garkhal in Akhnoor tehsil, this afternoon.
He said that the dead body of the man was shifted to Sub-District Hospital Akhnoor for identification and postmortem. The deceased is about 5 feet 8 inches in height, weatish in colour and wearing blue colour track suit and white sport shoes. He also has beard on his face.
The spokesman said that the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter. “Any information about the deceased man could be shared with Incharge, police post Garkhal, at his number 9419102069”, he added.
Meanwhile, two pedestrians identified as Mumni Bai (32) wife of Mohan Lal age 32 and Hari Parsad (35), both resident of MP, at present residing in Muthi Camp (Jammu), suffered injuries when they were hit by a mini-bus at Muthi Morh. A youth identified as Vijay Kumar (26) son of Om Parkash, resident of Kabir Colony, was also injured when the scooty on which he was travelling was hit by a car near Police Line, Jammu. The injured of both the accidents were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In both cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
