Eight injured in separate road mishaps

JAMMU, Nov 13: Eight persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, four persons identified as Chanchala Devi (41) wife of late Ravinder Kumar, resident of Railway West Colony, Jammu and Vimla Devi (70) wife of late Bhagat Ram, Puran Chand (64) son of late Saran Dass and Rekha Devi (61) wife of Puran Chand, all residents of Himachal Pradesh, were injured when a car bearing registration number HP37D-9508 rolled down the road at Mandiwala in Jourian area of Akhnoor tehsil.
A youth namely Pushpinder Kumar (24) son of Manohar Lal, resident of Takar (Sarore), received injuries when the bike he was riding, got slipped at Bishnah. A man identified as Balwan Singh (56) son of Kesar Ram, resident of Sjazadpur (Marh), sustained injuries when a bike on which he was going on, was hit by a car at Bohri, near Wine factory.
A couple was injured when their two-wheeler collided with another two-wheeler at Akhnoor Road near Shakti Nagar. The injured were identified as PK Durani (50) son of Kamleshwar Nath Durani, resident of Bohri and her wife, Shashi Kiran.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu. In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
