The villagers raised barricades and stopped the movement of vehicles. They raised slogans against PDD Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh, Chief Engineer and Executive Engineer concerned. Later, SDPO Iftikhar Talib and Tehsildar  Shahid Iqbal reached there and pacified the agitating villagers. They assured to restore power within two days.  Then the people lifted dharna.
