Adyal asks CM to impellent 7th pay Commission

JAMMU, Nov 11: S Ajit Singh Adyal, State president of All J&K Pensioners & Civil Society Association today urged the Chief Minster, Mehbooba Mufti to implement the 7th Pay Commission in favour of State Government employees and pensioners.
He also demanded that due installments of DA be also released in favour of the employees with enhancement in Medical Allowance.
He further demanded need based modification into SRO 57 F of 2013 to introduce the medical scheme in favour of State pensioners and family pensioners for helping the critical diseases , regularization of services of need based casual, contractual, consolidated and daily wagers through any comprehensive policy for adjustment of vacant posts in different Government departments.
He highlighted the demands of SRTC employees and demanded that the discrimination and disparity in payment of DA should end.
He said the time bound promotions under SRO 14 of 1996 in favour of drivers, conductors and cleaners after regular service period of 9, 19 and 27 years is still awaited and it is not incorporated in exiting rules compared to other categories carrying the same pay scales which is a discriminatory treatment in favour of drivers, conductors and cleaners of SRTC and erstwhile Government Transport Undertaking (GTU) employees, pensioners and family pensioners.
