JAMMU, Nov 17: Assuring people of time bound redressal of genuine demands, State BJP vice-president, Yudhvir Sethi today said that the Coalition Government is committed to address development aspirations of the people and all out efforts are afoot to equip winter capital city with most modern infrastructure.
He said that the historic city of Jammu would soon have most modern health care institution, finest educational institutions, tourism oriented projects and best urban infrastructure. “The coalition partners are working to revive the projects which were important for the overall development of the city and no stone would be left unturned to change the city into a modern city,” he stressed.
Yudhvir said this while addressing a gathering of people of Ward No 7 and adjoining areas of the old city. In his tour, Yudhvir visited Prem Nagar, Jogi Gate and other areas and listened to the grievances of the people.
The people of the area projected their demands which were mainly regarding lane and drains, launching sanitation drive and discontinuation of waste dumping in Jogi Gate parking area.
Giving a patient hearing to the demands put forth by the people, Yudhvir assured that genuine issues would be taken up with the JMC and other authorities for speedy disposal of the demands.
Later, Yudhvir Sethi visited Radha Krishna Rook-Mani temple, Pacci Dhakki and reviewed the pace and progress of the civil construction works undertaken in the temple complex. With active support of Yudhvir and other local residents, RCC slab and other allied civil works are underway in the temple.
Anil Masoom, vice president, district Jammu and Govind Sareen, in-charge, BJP sports cell, were also accompanying Yudhvir Sethi.
