JAMMU, Nov 17: DCM Public School has donated Rs 34,000 to HelpAge India, exhibiting exemplary sense of social responsibility by raising such fund for old aged citizens.
HelpAge India, an inter-national level organization, working for the welfare of senior citizens have conducted a programme of moral education at DCM Public School, Akhnoor, and after that school students and management collected voluntarily and donated the amount for HelpAge India.
HelpAge India is working for the cause and care of under privileged old age persons throughout many countries including all the States of India.
The amount was handed over to the HelpAge India by DCM School management in a simple event by chairman SP Sharma, Managing Director, Dheeraj Sharma and Principal Rama Jamwal to Neeru Sharma Khajuria from HelpAge India, Jammu.
