JAMMU, Nov 17: To commemorate the death anniversary of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha and Lala Har Dayal, Desh Bhagat Yaadgar Committee (DBYC) organized a function at Gurudwara Chand Nagar.
A large number of participants, including Advocate J A Kazmi, H R Jalmaria, CPI (ML) G L Chanda, Inder Mohinder Tar Singh, Gurudwara Prabandak Committee secretary Tar Singh and FUIW president Nirdosh Uppal were present on the occasion to pay tributes to Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha and Lala Har Dayal.
Comrade Sukhdev Singh and retired DIG Ratinder Kour, while addressing the gathering, threw light on life of Lala Har Dayal, who was the founder of the Ghadar Party in America. The speakers also highlighted the role of Kartar Singh Sarabha, who was a student, revolutionary, inspiring jewel in India’s freedom struggle and attained martyrdom when he was only 19 years old.
