SRINAGAR : All incoming and outgoing flights from Srinagar International Airport were cancelled today, due to poor visibility.
An official of the Airport said that due to fog, there was poor visibility at Airport since this morning.
As many as 17 flights operated between Srinagar-Jammu and Srinagar-Delhi on a daily basis. However, due to poor visibility, all the flights were cancelled.
Hundreds of passengers had to return from the airport after cancellation of flights.
”We had the first flight out from Srinagar, but when we reached the airport, we were informed that the flight was delayed due to poor visibility.
But after waiting for a couple of hours, we were told that all flights have been cancelled,” Tahir Hussain, a Delhi-bound passenger, said. (AGENCIES)
