JAMMU, Nov 18: Prof. Amitabh Mattoo, Advisor to Chief Minister, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Among the various important issues discussed, the Governor re-iterated his concern about the effective management of the educational sector, without any compromises whatsoever, in any domain. He also stressed the need to enforce time bound measures to make good the loss of studies suffered by students at all levels due to the continuing disruption of the teaching curriculum, which must be fully restored without any further delay.
Ghulam Hassan Mir, former Minister and President of Democratic Party Nationalist also met Governor.
Mir discussed with the Governor issues relating to the consequence of the disturbances which have been ongoing for the past over four months.
