GGM Science College organizes Heritage-cum-Alumni Meet

JAMMU, Nov 19: The Heritage-Cum-Alumni Club of the GGM Science College Jammu organized a simple but impressive Heritage-Cum-Alumni Meet in the premises of the college.
The even was  part of a series of programmes being organized under the UGC Heritage Project.
Alumni from different walks of life, ranging from Police Officers, Geologist, Educators, Principals, Bureaucrats, leaders, Businessmen, Officers from the Forest and Fisheries Department, Corporate leaders and other officials attended the meet enthusiastically.  They shared the memories of their college days. Some of them became nostalgic and emotional while reminiscing their student days in the prestigious college. They gave the credit of their success to their teachers who had helped them in shaping their careers.
They highly appreciated the initiative taken by the Principal and his team of faculty members for such a thought provoking event. They promised to contribute, wholeheartedly in the overall development of the college in general and welfare of the students in particular. They also asserted that in the near future,  they will make the students, parents and other stakeholders familiar with the past glory of the college.
Principal of the College,  Dr  Ajeet Angral appealed the alumni  to contribute in the development of the institution. He also highlighted the various achievements of the College in academic and extension activities.
A brief report about the programme was presented by Dr  Sanjay Karlupia, a senior faculty member of the college. Vote of thanks was presented by Dr  Chanchal Angral while the programme was conducted by Prof  Shalini Rana.
