JAMMU, Oct 6: The Blood Transfusion Department GMC, Jammu, today celebrated National Voluntary Blood Donation Day in the college auditorium here today.
Principal, GMC, Jammu, Dr Aniece Choudhary was the chief guest on the occasion besides all faculty members and college students attended the function.
During the programme, weeklong activities were performed to celebrate the National Voluntary Blood Donation Day which included symposia, poster, slogan and rangoli competition.
Dr. Aniece distributed prizes among the winners.
The voluntary blood donors and the organizations which participated in the noble cause of voluntary blood donation were honoured and felicitated on the occasion.
HoD Blood Transfusion Medicine, Dr Raman Kapoor presented welcome address while vote of thanks was presented by Dr Vijay Sawhney, Associate Professor.
