MUMBAI: Calling him an “influential” and “revolutionary leader”, filmmakers Hansal Mehta, Madhur Bhandarkar and actor Siddharth condoled the death of Fidel Castro, Cuba’s former president and leader of the Communist revolution.
Castro was one of the world’s longest-serving and most iconic leaders. He has died aged 90.

Mehta added: “Almost travelled to Havana. Visa issues made me change plans. Wish I’d made it before the passing away of Fidel Castro.”
“Whether you agreed or disagreed with Castro you couldn’t help be mesmerised with his aura. A light is extinguished. Fidel Castro. RIP,” fFilmmaker Nikkhil Advani tweeted.
