Sugar prices end quiet on sporadic demand

NEW DELHI, Nov 26:  Sugar prices closed steady at the wholesale market in the national capital today following scattered buying support amid adequate stocks position.
Marketmen said, small buying in view of approaching month-end and tight fund positions, following the government banning the 500 and 1,000 rupee notes to flush out black money, kept sweetener prices unchanged.

Sugar retail markets – Rs 39.00-43.00 per kg.
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,850-4,000, S-30 Rs 3,940-3,990.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,470-3,630, S-30 Rs 3,460-3,620.
