RAJOURI, Nov 28: Carrying forward his mission to connect with the people in far off and remote villages of Pir Panjal, BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta today visited village Kapha Kha.
The local villagers demanded the blacktopping of the link road between Dani Dhar and Kapha Kha. They informed the MLC that a large population of the area is suffering as the link road between Dani Dhar and Kapha Kha is in a bad condition.
Addressing the gathering, MLC Vibodh said that development is possible only when there will be peace and harmony in the State. Referring to the recent turmoil in Kashmir valley, Vibodh said such acts by few miscreants always affect the developmental activities. He further added that recent statements by senior politicians like Dr Farooq Abdullah only add fuel to the ongoing turmoil in the Valley.
He cautioned Farooq Abdullah to refrain from making such statements which impact the country’s sovereignty and integrity. He retreated the fact that PoK is integral part of India and expressed hope that strong and visionary leaders like Narendra Modi will ensure that India gets back its part of Kashmir from the illegal occupation of Pakistan.
He expressed shock and surprise over the fact that on one hand the leaders like Farooq Abdullah aspire to become President of India and on the other hand he plays with the aspirations of the nationalist forces.
Gupta added that politicians like Farooq Abdullah need to learn that Indian Parliament has passed a very strong resolution about 22 years back making it crystal clear that PoK is integral part of India.
MLC assured that gathering that all their genuine demands will get the attention of the Government which these issues deserve.
Regarding blacktopping of road between Dani Dhar and Kapha Kha, he said that he will soon take up this issue with the concerned R&B Minister.
Patwari Afzal Khan, Aziz Khan, Haji Mohammad Haneet, Zubair Khan, Mohammad Iqbal, Akram, Shokat Ali, Sadiq Khan, Atam Gupta, Kamal Bakshi, Gorav Chandan and many others were present on the occasion.
