MENDHAR, Nov 28: A Tata Mobile vehicle along with five bovine animals was seized by police in Mendhar area late this evening.
Official sources said that police party led by SI Javed Manhas during nakka at Hakeem Morh near Mendhar intercepted a vehicle No. JK02AH/2354 at around 8.30 pm. The driver stopped the vehicle at some distance, jumped out of it and fled the spot. The police found five bovine animals loaded in it. The police registered a case FIR No. 181/2016 and seized the vehicle along with animals. The driver was later identified as Ramzan Sayed, son of Mohd Sayed, resident of Salwah.
