POONCH, Nov 29: The ex-servicemen, refugees and youth of the area today held protest against Pakistan for resorting to unprovoked firing on civilians and Indian posts, killing innocent people on this side.
Led by president Ex-servicemen Welfare Association, Sub JS Khajuria and Adv Chaman Lal president Refugees Vikas Manch, these members assembled in the town here today and held protest, raising slogans against Pakistan for resorting to unprovoked firing, killing innocent people. They also paid rich tributes to the martyrs who recently laid down their lives for the cause of the nation.
The speakers during rally condemned the controversial statement of top NC leader and former J&K Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah. Hony Capt Nahar Singh, Sub Maj Ashok Kumar and Sachin Sharma also spoke on the occasion.
