APSCC expresses grief over founder member’s death

Srinagar, Nov 30: All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of one of its founder members S Krishanjeet Singh Mehta. Mehta passed away after a prolonged illness.
A condolence meeting to pay tributes to the late Sikh leader was held here. The meeting was presided over by chairman APSCC, Jagmohan Singh Raina, and many committee members took part in the meeting. A two minute silence was observed during the meeting to pay respects to the departed soul.
Addressing the participants of the meeting, the APSCC chairman said that Mehta played a stellar role in the formation of APSCC and that he was always worried about the Sikh community as a whole. Raina said that Mehta along with some other Sikh leaders took the bold decision of forming the APSCC which on date has come up a strong voice of Sikhs of Jammu & Kashmir.
