UP court to hear case against 2 former J&K CMs on Dec 14

BADAUN: A local court has taken cognisance on a complaint filed against former Jammu and Kashmir chief ministers Farooq Abdullah and his son Omar Abdullah, for making anti-national statements against the country during a TV show recently.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Mohammad Aslam Siddique admitted the complaint and fixed December 14 as the next date of hearing in the case, when the petitioner’s statement would be recorded.

Petitioner Bundu Khan, a local social worker, had moved the application against both the J&K CMs for their anti-national statements during a prime time programme of a prominent news channel on November 25. (AGENCIES)
