SRINAGAR: Former chief minister Omar Abdullah today said senior Congress leader P Chidambaram’s “certificate of incompetence” to the State Government led by him was “ironic”.
“I would have been offended if my certificate of incompetence had come from anyone else, but from a UPA 2 minister, it is ironic to say the least,” Omar wrote on Twitter.
His reaction came after Chidambaram’s reported remarks at a book launch function in New Delhi yesterday.
“We had a young man (Omar Abdullah) with good intention but his was not a competent Government,” Chidambaram was reported to have said at the function. (AGENCIES)
