JAMMU, Dec 3: The protest dharna and `Kam Chhor Hartal’ of PHE daily rated, ITI trained and CP workers today entered the 82nd day.
These workers under the leadership of Tanveer Hussain-president, Deepak Gupta vice president and general secretary Subash Chander had launched the strike and protest programme . They are demanding regularization policy for the daily wagers/ ITI/ CP workers , release pending wages of the workers, create separate wage head and bring workers under insurance cover and provide compensation in case of mishap.
The Union declared Secretariat Gherao programme on December 15. They appealed the workers to assemble at Press Club in large number for the proposed protest rally on December 15, 2016.
