JAMMU, Dec 5: A new political party has been framed on the name and title “National Democratic Party” to serve the people and nation.
This was stated by Tilak Raj, General Secretary and spokesman of the Party during press conference here this morning.
He informed that Sandeep Turki has been nominated as President of the party, while Arun Mahajan as Vice President, Vicky Raina as Secretary and Meer Chand as treasurer.
Raj informed that the agenda of the party is promotion of good governance, democratic governance and social justice, advocating for participation in governance and politics, promotion an inclusive and vibrant civil society and supporting poor communities in their engagements on service delivery and social transformation.
He stated that the party will focus on awareness and capacity building at a local Government level, promoting the nation in which Government, politics, business, civil society and the daily lives of the people will remain free from corruption.
He added that the party has moral values to provide accountability, transparency, efficiency and is responsible to use of financial resources and organization assets and eradication of discrimination based on gender, sexuality, religion and ethnicity.
Among others present were Arun Mahajan, Meer Chand, Swati Rajput, Sonam Gupta, Dilwar Singh, Kewal Krishan and Sonia Gupta.
