JAMMU, Dec 6: Punjab National Bank, Bishnah branch organized an awareness camp on financial literacy and digital banking at village Amir Nagar, Harsha Dabber, in block Bishnah under the guidance of S Bikram Singh Raina, DGM-Circle Head, PNB, J&K Circle.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Aniket Bhonsle, Branch Head. A large number of farmers, women and ex-servicemen of the village took part in the camp who were made aware by Kali Dass, Financial Literacy Counsellor PNB, regarding Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, PMSBY, PMJJBY, PM Atal Pension Yojana and KCC scheme and seeding of Aadhar cards in their accounts.
Subash Chander Chief Manager, PNB Circle Office, Jammu guided the participants about the digital banking and different schemes of the bank for their benefit.
S Bikram Singh Raina, DGM Circle Head PNB J&K Circle, explained in detail about the digital banking and different loan schemes of the bank including KCC and advised the farmers for the timely repayment of the loan/KCC to avail the benefit of 4% interest in KCC scheme.
Arun Jaral, JAEO from the Department of Agriculture addressed the farming community regarding Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri soil health card scheme.
Ajit Singh Charak, Sarpanch, presented vote of thanks.
