UDHAMPUR, Dec 6: MLA Ramnagar R S Pathania conducted whirlwind tour of villages Sunetar, Dhanoo, Konain, Bhella, Udhak, Rang, Dhanu Blandh, Dalia and chaired meetings while taking stock of and a firsthand overview of problems being faced by the locals of these areas in which representatives, senior officers and district/ block heads of different departments were also present.
The MLA gave patient hearing to issues projected by the people and issued direction for on spot redressal of the problems. He apprised the people that State Government was initiating several steps to mitigate their suffering and exhorted upon the officers of various departments to ensure their 24×7 availability for public. He further called for qualitative and time bound completion of the projects.
On the occasion, MLA Ramnagar informed that work on macadamisation cum improvement of Gundian-Sunetar road is going to be taken up very shortly under PMGSY. To increase the tourist influx to State famous shrines of Mata Chountra Devi Ji and Pingla Devi Ji road network is being strengthened. He further informed that work on Udhak- Baba Khadsar road has been approved at an estimated cost of Rs 5.00 crore. Road under CRF costing Rs 27 crore shall connect Dhar with Dhar road.
Commenting upon the recent “Demonetization drive” launched by Prime Minister, he described it as historic step.
He further said that he will ensure availability of staff and free medicines and healthcare facilities at all the PHCs.
