SRINAGAR, Dec 8: Police today said it have seized Government rice supply from a vehicle in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A police spokesman said police during naka checking intercepted a Tata mobile bearing registration number JK03B-2634 at Pethpora village of Narbal in the district.
“On checking of the vehicle, 10 quintals of Government supply rice meant for general public was recovered. Two people who were travelling in the vehicle have been arrested. They were identified as Abdul Qayoom Rather and Bashir Ahmad Dar,” he said.
The police spokesman said a case has been registered in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
