RAJOURI, Dec 8: Internat-ional School, Rajouri, topped in Rajouri – Poonch schools quiz competition organized by the Border Security Force, Rajouri Headquarters. Many Government and Private schools from both the districts participated in the quiz competition based on current affairs and general knowledge at Raina Auditorium, 25 Infantry Division Rajouri today.
Team of four students – Parvik Sharma, Reeba Shamim Malik, Aftar Ahmed and Mohd Sameer were adjudged as the best contestants and were rewarded a cash prize of 4000 rupees, gold medals and trophy by the GOC 25 Infantry Division, Rajouri. Maninderdeep Singh Mann, DIG BSF Rajouri was Guest of Honour.
Ashish Langer, Director of International School and Principal, Dev Raj appreciated the commendable efforts of Activity Teacher, Sanjeev and the winning team of the students. International School secured 175 marks with a lead of 30 marks to its nearest competitor in total of four quiz rounds.
