Indian space scientists deserve kudos for successful launch of remote sensing satellite, Resources AT-2A. The launch underlines the fact that Indian Space Research Organisation is growing in confidence, technology and esteem. The agency has become the backbone of Indian progress in various fields like soil mapping, cropping system and communication network.
The successful launch of satellites has earned is reputation in various countries of the world. It is bagging contracts from these countries for launching their space-crafts at affordable charges.
The contribution made by the agency in defense sector too is commendable. The launch of missiles has given a boost to production of defense hardware indigenously, and reduced our dependance on foreign countries for our defense equipments. Well done ISRO.
