SAMBA, Dec 9: A girl committed suicide by hanging herself under mysterious circumstances at her residence in village Garwal in Samba district today.
The deceased was identified as Shalu Sharma ,age 20, daughter of Kuldeep Raj resident of Village Garwal under the jurisdiction of Ramgarh Police Station .She was found hanging with a ceiling fan.
Family member saw her hanging and immediately called the Police that rushed to the spot. The girl was taken to hospital where doctors declared her as brought dead. Later the body was shifted to mortuary for conducting postmortem.
Cause behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while police has registered a case under relevant sections of law for further investigation.
