UDHAMPUR, Dec 10: To take stock of various day to day problems being faced by public, Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA Ramnagar conducted extensive tour of Basantgarh and Dudu areas.
MLA also chaired the janta darbars at Kulwanta, Majouri, Gandh Top, Shiv Gali and Basantgarh for redressal of problems being faced by the locals of the respective areas in which representatives, senior officers and district and block heads of Education Department, Rural Development, Power Development Department (PDD), Public Heath Engineering (PHE), PMGSY, Social-Welfare, ICDS, Health and other departments were also present.
MLA Ramnagar gave patient hearing to several issues projected by the people of the area and issued direction for on spot redressal of the problems projected by the people. He exhorted upon the officers and officials of various departments to ensure their 24×7 availability for public. He further called for qualitative and time bound completion of the projects.
Pathania demanded setting up of special sub-plan under District Plan so that developmental needs of this hilly belt can be managed in an effective way. He asked public to support the demonetization whole-heartedly and strengthen the hands of Prime Minister who has taken such a bold step to weed out corruption and black money from society.
At Majouri, MLA reviewed the progress on development of Model Tribal Village at Rasli Gadheran with district heads of various departments. The village is to be developed with an estimated cost of nearly Rs 3 crores along with other Rs 2 crores further to be added by various line departments.
Pathania also inaugurated a 24×7 Helpline (Grievance Cell) at Basantgarh for public of the area so that he can remain in touch with local issues and further public need not to come over to Jammu or Ramnagar or wait for the visit of MLA in the area to hear their grievances and problems.
Among others present were Shiv Charan, Yog Raj, Amar Nath Balgotra, AR Wani, Muzaffar, Rukum Din, Manzur Ahmad, Suram Chand, Mir Chand, Behari Lal, Om Parkash and various other locals of the area.
