SRINAGAR, Dec 11: A pedestrian was injured in a road accident after he was hit by a vehicle in Handwara in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A police spokesman said a Sumo bearing registration number JK05B-9117 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Shabir Ahmad Bania near Tulwari village of Handwara in the district.
The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment, said the spokesman, adding that police have registered a case in this regard.
