SRINAGAR, Dec 14: In an effort to reach out to the people of militancy infested areas, 183 Battalion of CRPF today installed LED lights in South Kashmir Newa hamlet of Pulwama.
CRPF spokesperson said, “LED lights were installed under the Civic Action Programme organized by 183 Battalion, CRPF under the supervision of Vinay Anand Prakash, Commandant, 183 Battalion, CRPF and his team of officers and men at Village Newa in district Pulwama”.
District Police and administration along with other local officers, sarpanch and the locals of Newa village hoped that such efforts will bridge the gaps between security forces and people.
Commandant, Vinay highlighted development endeavors initiated by 183 Battalion and assured that CRPF is commitment to organizing the similar programmes in future also.
