JAMMU, Dec 14: In order to check the readiness and alertness of troops, a mock drill of a terrorist attack was conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Police at Swarn Theatre, Gole Market, Gandhi Nagar, here.
The mock drill was organized by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu Dr Sunil Gupta.
After information of presence of terrorists inside Swarn Theatre, the troops from police station Gandhi Nagar under the command of SHO Inspector Bishnesh Kumar reached the spot and cordoned the area.
The troops of SOG under the command of DySP Operations Sheikh Tahir conducted intensive search of the building. All near by SHOs and Incharge police post laid special nakas and seized all cut off points leading to the spot.
The whole operation was supervised by SDPO City South Sachin Gupta and SP City South Shaazad Salaria.
