SAMBA, Dec 14: Three people died in three separate road accidents in Samba district today.
According to police, an unknown teenager died after his scooty was hit by a Tata Mobile bearing registration number, JK02AR8781 at Gurwal More near Ramgarh when the ill fated teenager was on his way to Sankha Morh today. He died on the spot while the driver of Tata Mobile fled after accident. The dead body has been shifted to CHC Ramgarh for postmortem. It will be handed over to family after autopsy tomorrow. The Ramgarh Police has registered a case under relevant sections of the law.
In another accident a motor cyclist was injured after his bike bearing registration number JK02A 5465 was hit by a matador JK21/5469 at Jammu Pathankot National Highway when he was on his way from Vijaypur to Bari Brahmana this morning. He has been identified as Balkar Singh, S/o Surinder Singh of Kool Kalan Arnia . He was shifted by Bari Brahmana Police to GMC H Jammu where doctors declared him as brought dead.
In another accident at Bari Brahmana a youth whose identity could not be ascertained died after he was hit by a van bearing registration number JK02BJ 1844 today. His body has been shifted to mortuary by Bari Brahmana Police for identification.
