JAMMU, Dec 15: Continuing its drive against the violators of Motor Vehicle Act,
Traffic Police, City Jammu, seized 39 vehicles and challaned 783 others.
The seized vehicles, include; Buses-05, Mini-Buses-17, School Vehicles-05, Tippers-03, Tractors-Trollyes-01, Load Carrier (Auto)-03, LMV -04 and Motorcycle-01.
A total number of 783 vehicles were challaned for contravening of M.V. Act/Rules.
Violators were also challaned for not wearing seat belts, use of mobile phone, overloading and triple riding.
Traffic Police Jammu has directs all owners/drivers plying commercial/private vehicles to have the valid documents and strictly follow traffic rules for the safety and security of people.
