Demonetisation

Sir,
Uncontroversially, the decision of the Govt for monetisation is considered right one for removal of malices like corruption fake currency, hoarding of money accumulated through unfair means and discouragement of hawala funding etc. Corruption a major cause that disturbs and weakens our economic and political edifice, needs to be checked. Unprecedented scams and embezzlements, financial irregularities and indiscipline have necessitated the Govt to take such a bold step. The problems aren’t unlikely to arise, but for achievement of a great cause, sacrifices are always unavoidable. What is needed in such circumstances, is only patience and co-operation.
Politicisation of any issue maligns its real objectives. When aunts can’t be more sympathetic and well-wishers than mothers, the criticism, if any, by the political parties for getting political mileage doesn’t sound so good. Instead, the parties are expected to extend their valuable suggestions to the Govt to dispel the clouds created by the act of monetisation.
Yours etc…
