KATHUA, Dec 17: Stadium-XI Kathua registered win over Doda-XI by a huge margin of 102 runs and sailed into the next stage of the ongoing 7th Police Martyrs Memorial North Zone Inter Club T-20 Cricket Championship, being played at Sports Stadium, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Stadium–XI Kathua set a target of 183 runs by losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. Parshant was the highest scorer with 47 runs off 28 balls.
For Doda-XI side, Rahul and Sachin were main successful bowlers as they scalped 4 wickets each.
In the second inning, Doda–XI failed to chase the target and bundled out at paltry 81 runs in 17.2 overs. Ravi scored 27 runs in 41 balls.
For Stadium-XI Kathua side, Rompy took 4 wickets in 2.2 over by conceding 10 runs only.
Rompy of Stadium-XI Kathus was adjudged as Man of the Match for his all round performance and cash prize of Rs 2100 and trophy were presented to him by RK Gift Centre Kathua.
