JAMMU, Dec 18: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees’ Federation (JKMEF) today highlighted their demands in its meeting held here today under the chairmanship of its president, Sushil Sudan.
A large number of employees from all the districts/blocks participated in the meeting, wherein speakers highlighted various issues concerning the employees.
The main demands that were discussed in the meeting include clearing DPC at par with GMC/Drug & Food Control Organization on the pattern of executive order passed by the Administrative Department till SRO 20 is modified, making promotions strictly in accordance to the seniority, permanent solution of Salary Head 2211- Family welfare, creation/upgradation of posts of District Pharmacy Officers/Block Pharmacy officers, removal of pay anomalies in the pay scale of Ministerial staff and other categories and risk allowance to all non-gazetted employees of the department.
Besides, other demands like enhancement of pay scale of Junior Staff Nurses from Rs 4000-6000 to 5000-8000 (pre-revised), framing policy of regularization of employees engaged under NHM/ NCD/ HDF and increasing their remuneration, release of two and half days pay incentive in favour of all non-gazetted employees including ministerial staff and enhancement of FTA of Field Staff (malaria/Leprosy) be enhanced from Rs 45 to Rs 100 per month.
