Saria moves up on uptick in demand

NEW DELHI, Dec 19: Saria strengthened by Rs 700 per tonne at the steel market in the national capital today following pick up in demand from construction units.

Traders attributed the rise in saria prices to upsurge in demand from constructions unit.

Saria Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 700 each to Rs 37,400, Rs 36,200 and Rs 36,200 per tonne, respectively.

Saria 16-25-mm followed suit and traded higher by a similar margin to Rs 35,700 per tonne.

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 37,400, 10-mm Rs 36,200, 12-mm Rs 36,200, 16-25 mm Rs 35,700.
