MENDHAR, Dec 19: A youth was seriously injured after he was stabbed by the members of rival party during clash over land dispute in Harni area of Mendhar today.
The victim has been identified as Mohd Jahangir, son of Abdul Majid, resident of Harni. Police said that over an old land dispute, family members of Abdul Majid and Idrees Ahmed of Harni had bloody clash this afternoon. During clash Jahangir was stabbed in his stomach by the son of Idrees and was rushed to SDH Mendhar and then referred to GMC Jammu. Two daughters of Idrees were also hospitalized after clash. The police party led by SHO Gursai reached there and registered a case. It was investigating.
