JAMMU, Dec 20: Police arrested a shopkeeper and recovered large quantity of illicit liquor pouches in RS Pura.
As per police sources, on specific information, a police team led by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal conducted raid in a general store at village Floura and recovered 84 pouches of illicit liquor.
Police arrested the shopkeeper, who has been identified as Joginder Singh, son of Thakur Singh of village Floura.
The accused under the garb of his general store use to sell the illicit liquor to the common masses for illegitimate profits.
He was handed over to RS Pura for legal action under Law.
