JAMMU, Dec 20: A delegation of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee led by Roshan Lal Raina, its president along with Behari Lal, Mohan Lal Pandita, C L Zutshi called on Chief Engineer, PHE and apprised him of the problems like erecting of boundary wall of the park and installing motor system in the sump tank as well as reservoir already constructed and ensuring alternative supply of water to the area.
The Chief Engineer issued directives to the subordinate engineers regarding construction of boundary wall, installing of motor system in the sump tank and ensure alternate supply of water.
Later the delegation also met the Executive Engineer, JDA and demanded installation of benches in park and planting grass and trees in park. The Executive Engineer agreed to give proper shape to the park and installation of benches there.
