MENDHAR, Dec 21: Senior National Conference leader and MLA Mendhar, Javed Ahmed Rana, today expressed disappointment over the PDP led Coalition Government’s insensitive attitude on the vital issue of regularisation of ITI diploma holders, casual and daily-wager employees of PHE and other departments.
In a press statement here the MLA said they continue to live in uncertainty due to the present Government’s irresponsible and non-serious attitude. Rana urged the Government for humanitarian treatment to thousands of families across the State which are living in great anxiety because of uncertain future of bread earners.
“These daily wagers who have greatly contributed in making several departments functional, have been pushed to the wall and the State Government seems to be insensitive towards their well-being”, the MLA said.
Describing the demand for regularisation as legitimate, Rana said many of these workers have crossed the age limit and now the prospect of losing their livelihood stalks them. He said the Government should ensure that their livelihood is not put at stake and initiate measures for their regularisation.
