JAMMU, Dec 22: People of village Sandhi in Jammu outskirts have been suffering for last over one week due to inadequate public transport services.
The residents of the village Sandhi, which is about 20 kilometres from Jammu, alleged that only one SRTC bus is plying on their route for last over one week while earlier four buses in a day were catering to the people of the area.
They said that people of the area particularly college going students are suffering badly due to inadequate public transport services. “The matter was also brought to the notice of the concerned authorities including RTO Jammu but no step was taken to redress their problems”, locals alleged.
They appealed the Government as well as the concerned Minister to personally intervene into the matter to ease problems of the people.
