JAMMU, Dec 22: Janipur police arrested three persons for gambling.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, a team from Janipur police station conducted raid and nabbed three persons for gambling from Janipur Colony area.
Police recovered stake money of Rs 4000 and playing cards from the spot.
A case under Gambling Act has been registered against them at police station Janipur and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Janipur Inspector Verinder Gupta made the arrested under the supervision of SDPO West Nikhil Rasgotra and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
