Secretariat employees apprise CM of demands

JAMMU, Dec 22: J&K Civil Secretariat (Non-Gazetted) Employees Union today submitted a memorandum of demands to Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti.
The Union demanded removal of pay disparity of various cadres, implementation of 7th Pay Commission in toto, career progression/cadre review of GAD, Planning, Accounts and Law, deletion of Rule 11(3) of SRO-386 of 2008 or separate Gazetted service-I.
The employees demanded filling up of available slots in KAS for Secretariat Gazetted Services- I and II (Feeding), clearance of creation in respect of Class IV posts of secretariat Subordinate Service as already recommended by the competent authority, implementation of directions of HCM regarding detachment of attached staff in true spirit, construction of new/additional residential quarters for employees at Jammu/ Srinagar and eviction of illegal occupants from Government quarters.
The CM assured the Union to consider their demands positively.
