BJP Mahila Morcha organizes seminar on ‘Sushasan Divas’

JAMMU, Dec 23: In connection with ‘Sushasan Divas’ programmes being organized to celebrate the birthday of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, BJP Mahila Morcha activists under State President Purnima Sharma, organized a seminar at Krishna Public School, Bakshi Nagar.
BJP State Spokesperson and Incharge ‘Sushasan Divas’ programme celebrations Prof Virender Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion, while senior leader and Mahila Morcha Prabhari Suresh Jamwal was guest of honour. The programme was presided over by Mahila Morcha President Purnima Sharma.
The students who participated in the seminar spoke about Good Governance Day and highlighted the people centric, nation-centric programmes undertaken by Atal Behari Vajpayee when he was the Prime Minister of India.
The first three winners in the seminar were honoured with the trophies and certificates.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Virender Gupta threw light on the life of Atal Behari Vajpayee and said that even his political opponents always display high regards for him. He holds multifaceted personality. He earned his name as a distinct orator, writer, poet, journalist and a crusade of high values in the Indian politics. He also told the students about the ‘Good Governance’ and the emphasis of the present government on Swachh Bharat, Beti Bachao Beti Padao, Ujwala Yojana, Mudra Bank etc.
Purnima Sharma spoke on the objective of organizing seminar on ‘Good Governance’ and said that the school going children can prove to be best medium to take the message of the PM to their families and friends.
Suresh Jamwal said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision about the country and his efforts to bring India on the international map has been splendid.
Mahila Morcha office bearers including Neena Gupta, Veenu Khanna, Sanjita Dogra, Monika Khosla, Usha Slathia, Sushma Manhas, Sushma Gupta, Parveen Arora, Sonia Gupta, Veena Gupta, Anuradha Sharma, Shailja Gupta, Aarti Gupta and Indu Gupta were also present.
