Over 300 obtain benefit of mobile medical camp

SRINAGAR, Dec 23: Over 300 people were treated in a mobile medical camp organized by Army in collaboration with health officials at Aragam village of Bandipora district.
A defence spokesman said that Army joined hands with officials at Primary Health Centre Aragam to provide preliminary medical assistance to the people from Aragam and adjoining areas.
“To cover wider area the team of medical workers travelled on foot. The medical camp started early in the morning went on till late afternoon owing to the overwhelming response of the locals,” he said.
The spokesman said over 300 people including elders and children were benefitted from treatment for ailments largely caused due to seasonal change. This event once again conspicuously witnessed the joint efforts of the local Government health workers and the Army, he added.
